2008 Agenda for the Templestowe Knitting Club

Meets generally on the 2nd Friday of each month (phone 9812 7308 or 9846 2131).  The meeting format starts with a small demonstration, followed by ‘show and tell’ and problem solving (individual needs catered for).

February 15th Hats, gloves, scarves, bags and slippers

March 14th Leon Lee to do maintenance. There will
be $6 for this session. Expo: Hands on preparation of articles for display and sale.

May 2nd Brief report from Ann-Marie(Body block) Expo: Hands on finishing.

May 9th Expo: Duty days to be allocated.

June 13th Accessories: single & double bed changers.  Patterning with fairisle, floatless fairisle and jacquard.

August 15th Guest speaker (approx $6 for this session)

September12th Ann-Marie report.  Light weight fabrics and summer knitting, including needles out of work.

October 10th Gadgets: Lace and transfer carriages, garter bar, linker, knit radar and contour. Calcuknit.

November 14th Cardigans, buttonholes and making buttons.

December 12th  2009 planning and Christmas Break-up, bring a plate and a Kris Kringle. (something to do with knitting)
