Association members are really fortunate this year as two more of our clubs are inviting members to attend their workshops.

The Surrey Hills Passap Machine Knitting Club and the Melton Machine Knitting Club are inviting Association Members to attend their  club meetings for a day based on but not exclusively for the Passap Knitting Machine.  These workshops are quite different as indicated in the details below.

PASSAP WORKSHOP Wednesday July 4th 2007.  Hosted by Surrey Hills Passap Machine Knitting Club.
The workshop is open to anyone who has an interest in Passap demonstrations. Lois Stacey will demonstrate ‘Passap Trims’.  Diane Chew will demonstrate ‘Lightweight Fabrics on the Passap’ and Jean Sortino will be discussing ‘An introduction to the Embroidery Machine for  your Knitting’ Click here for more details and the Application form.

WHAT’S HAPPENING IN 2008
The committee is planning machine knitting events for 2008. We have decided that we will not be holding a seminar next year. Instead we will be having a Machine Knitting Expo in Melbourne. Details will be in the next newsletter. Other craft guilds hold very successful exhibitions and we have been inspired to hold one for ourselves.
